The Jayhorns are the first call Dutch Horn Section. With Serge Plume and Rik Mol on trumpet and flugelhorn, Allard Buwalda on saxes and woodwinds and Jel Jongen on trombones and tuba they have been working for over two decades throughout The Netherlands and Belgium.
Jel founded the Jayhorns in 1993 together with Allard Buwalda, Eelco Oudolf and Serge Plume. The Jayhorns work with a large number of Dutch and International artists. Over the years they have been performing in hundreds of TV-shows, working with artists like John Legend, Adele, James Morisson, Michael Bublé, Joss Stone and many others.
The Jayhorns have toured with Marco Borsato, Clouseau, Rob de Nijs and Paul de Leeuw. They have recorded for national artists such as Marco Borsato, Nick en Simon, Alain Clark, Paul de Leeuw and Rob de Nijs. They have also recorded for international artists like David Guetta, Florent Pagny, Dieter Falk, Lara Fabian to name but a few.
